My name is Jalen Stubbs and I am majoring in communications with a concentration in journalism. I grew up in Montgomery County Maryland which is one of the most diverse counties nationwide. Growing up in such a diverse community I feel like there were still limitations for black men to stand out and make a name for themselves. I was blessed to grow up in a progressing community but I feel that being part of BMSI will allow me to build my brand and be well known for my passion.
